Sachinism
:hysterical::hysterical: it was only gonna be a while before India showed how inconsistent they are Link to comment
msb1991
Every team has an off match. Don't forget that just a month ago, West Indies beat South Africa. Link to comment
Tapioca
India, being India, something like this was round the corner. I am just happy that this didn't happen in Australia. Link to comment
Sachinism
yeh teams have off days, but 76ao is pathetic Link to comment
cochise
Indians don't do things in half measures. When we decide to have a day off...we really have the full day off... Link to comment
DomainK
Chill guys. It happens. Just an off day. Link to comment
fineleg
India is frustratingly inconsistent. If they are consistently poor, then we can give it up and walk away. But they entice you with few good performances, and then when you are most unaware, they will spring an absolute series of shockingly bad performances. Off days are fine. But this is beyond off days. This is abysmal day. Link to comment
Dhondy
we were just too complacent . That's not correct, Riya. They were petrified once they saw the grass on the pitch. Notice how many of them got out to tentative strokes- Jaffer, Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly- that's 4 of the 5 specialist batsmen selected. I am not sure Dravid didn't make that ball look better than it actually was. He's gone that way quite often in the recent past, to the one that lands on middle and moves away. Of India's old guard, his decline is the most visible, because he always had such good technique. Link to comment

Yuvraj4Captaincy
To have a off day is perfectly fine. Afterall it is India but next time please dont even think about comparing India to Australia. Australia even in not so bright days of recent dont have off days liek this. Link to comment
fineleg
in Tests: Australia then South Africa then India No comparison with Aus in ODIs: we are still far away from even comparisons Link to comment
Dhondy
Steyn confirms on his interview on Cricinfo that Indian bats were pretty much terrified once they saw the ball move a bit. He speaks of them like a schoolground bully would of first formers- with contempt and a snigger at their obvious terror. Indian batting has been found out big time. Worse still, their mental frailty has been exposed. Once you find out that you are not quite the man you thought you are, you are toast. Link to comment
Dhondy
Meanwhile, Harbhajan is publicly moaning about the pitch, making India look even worse losers than they are. Boy oh boy, the repercussions from this Test match will never die down. Link to comment

HouMac
A very shameful performance indeed, but I'd say most sides w/o their best batsman and 2 best bowlers are bound to have a day where they look very ordinary. Link to comment
Sachinism
seriously look at the state of the indian bowling attack, bhaji is picking up the most wickets, that in itself says a lot the rest need to fix up Link to comment
