I6MTW Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 He's always performing and hitting those 20 ball 50s and 60s in other leagues and even in international T20s and ODIs. How come he has sucked in IPL since 2014. Even in 2014, he was only good in the UAE leg of the tournament. I figured he might perform here again, but he's just too hackish in IPL.

Maxwell did look beast at a time for Punjab when Marsh and Miller were also on song. But when rr goes over 10 and Indian spinners are turning big, it often makes a good hitter look like a hack.

But Maxwell doesn't even have single good (match winning) innings since 2014.

Even local Indian spinners like Rahul Chahar, Bishnoi, Markande will walk into most international playing 11s. That's the quality of IPL spin bowling for you.
