I am glad India is not China. Very thankful it is not China and folks like you need to live in China for sometime to understand loss of personal freedom.

Good point. The poster needs to get used to working tirelessly to create phones and computers. Youngsters are committing suicides and China doesnt give a rats ass

Yeah you are talking about the educated folk living there. But most of the day to day folk are not educated and Delhi seems to have the most socially aggressive people in India. I haven't been to Mumbai but I think they are more chiller than Delhi from the people I have met in US who were from Mumbai. Mumbai also has people from all over India. Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata have the least diversity but still there is some. I was born in Delhi BTW and lived there for 6 years. My dad was a chief engineer and worked for Roadways in the Central Government. Last time I was there was about 15 years ago. Observed the same behavior there. I mean Indians in general are more socially aggressive in general but Delhi is where they take it to a new level

Delhi has its sets of issues and people from Mumbai, Karnatka and south in general are more friendly. Being from Delhi I am obligated to like it.

False equivalence and strawman logic.  Do you know

22 states have established private markets, 21 have e-trading, 23 have a single license or a single point levy on the APMC purchases, 20 have contract farming permitted legally now ..

Why were they not blocking streets and stealing generators from cell towers already because of the corporate bogeyman?

The corporates are already here, these reform supposedly give better control to the farmer in case of litigations or contracts. Removing the commission and fees applied by APMCs, the private buyers save farmers more money.

Corporates can be regulated by strong governments, zamindars can’t be.

And their farming income is???

 you want deregulation but want to be overseen by strong govts  There is no perfect govt with perfect people. you need to know that living in a country that has more knowledge about democracy. I know how a common Indian thinks and how a politician coming out of the ranks of the populace thinks. This is doomed to be a failure. Better prevent this now than regret later. 22 states accpeting it is not an indication that its good. 24 states dont celebrate jallikattu. Does that mean SC can ban it under some psuedoethical org like PETA. The will of the people need to be accepted and modi hasnt done enough to quell any reservations and fears amongst the people. Its his duty to do this

Underline issue is farmers are working very hard and can barey support their family. There are inefficiencies that need to be dealt with but the safety net needs to stay. No where in the world farming is free market. Thew system will crash if it is free market. It has to be regulated.

If they need to fix stuff they need to start from PSU's which are a bigger drain.

Modi coming from a highly Industrial state does not understand farming. Farmers from rajasthan will support farmers from Haryana, Punjab etc. because they understand exactly what is going on.

O Minor from Indraprastha, saying it a 100 times won’t make it the truth. You have to back with data, all you have been posting is empty statements which none can be remotely construed as true. PSUs employ 70% of India’s laborers , 35%of India’s GDP and net exports of some like BHEL,BEL are much much higher than any export from Agro  sector. They don’t sit on their asses. Yes, some state PSUs are a drain, any talk of divestment or privatization will get Indians like you to hit the street and destroy public property. Where in this logic says farmers are lazy? I already showed how farmers income goes exponentially high by the amount of land owned. Zamindars sitting fat on MSP money are getting their dhotis  in a wad looking at reforms and losing out their steady stream of income. Don’t keep mouthing off without any data!

you shift goalposts and make it a personal argument. You said zamindars are better than corporates. My point was corporates are already there and why were they not protesting? Stick to the point don’t bring jalli-kattu to all arguments. All parties promised reforms in agrarian crisis. This Govt implemented them. 580 out of 620 farmer unions are for reforms, except those fat cows sitting on MSP revenue.

Tell me where I said such a thing. stop putting words into my mouth and stop being such a cheerleader. Anybody who sits on PM chair must answer to claims whether they are fat cows are not. I used jallikattu to see how the majority can be wrong. Is your kambala up and running now. You're welcome. You should thank the people of TN for that.

Edit: Where did I make it a personal argument

Get the context, if Adani bogeyman has to used, why were they all not the streets last year?

You are ignorant. These 22 states have much lower income. Get it.

Oh the wise one from where ever go see the workings of PSU'. They still don't do jack shyt.

It is 2020 and the PSU cannot even make a simple rifle for IA. It has to be imported. Even shells used in Kargil were imported. I have worked in PSU's and no one works more than an hour a day in lot of them. That is where the real subsidy is going. You are a hate mongrer.

Your 580 out of 620 is propoganda. These 580 have lot less members than the other 40. This is deliberate misinformation spread by folk like you.

You are a superb one at that deflecting arguments. That's high income of Ph farmers is false income as they are funded by MSP. Other 94% farmers are poor and they are in favor of the reforms and will get on the streets if the laws are repealed.

Banning jailakattu is saying that some majority opinion has the right to over rule a tradition. Tamils do not abuse animals and they do not abuse people.

I eat meat but to be honest it is the wrong thing to do. I have no right to force my views on others.

Everyone in India who works in public sector or govt job has a false income. And that includes you daddy and mine too. So understand the dynamics.

Dude, people availing MSP is just from 2 states for 2 crops. Rest of the country farmers are poor and need these reforms. That's the numbers game you want to play. There is a silent majority and are looking at how Ph farmers get the lion share of the MSP revenue. They were done for Green revolution, now it has tuned into a red revolution. They can now freely burn stubble and make your living city unlivable. Go figure out!

When you dont have people supporting your views you call it silent majority. That is a term that I use when I have no support. The issue is just not two states all states and their farmers need to be gauranteed MSP. All of them.

I thought you said you are Minor. When did you work in all PSUs and formed a report that is blessed by UNESCO on the working styles of PSU employees. All hate is coming out of you as I see it.

I am not capable of hate. Just not my style. I maybe a minor but based on posts I am lot more matured than you. My age is immaterial. I work of force fields like yoda and probably am 800 years old.
