That tells a lot about his performance. No wonder he averages like this in SENA for a test specialist. https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/player/32540.html?class=1;template=results;type=batting and that win too because of Pujara .... avg batting avg away in the #1-3 positions in SENA is 30-31 off late, Pujara avgs a lot more .... and avg do not tell you how he handles the new ball too PS Edited January 9, 2021 by zen Link to comment

It can't be both ways... Frustrated 1 Link to comment

It can't be both ways... No player can score 500+ runs in every series .... Everyone knows Pujara was strong at home in Asia in first part of his career and came back strong in the 2nd half with good performances in Eng and Aus .... and as already mentioned has done exceptionally well in the top order away in SENA off late Not many give two hoots about performances in WI now as it is not a major force in tests. Ind can even win there by resting its key players Link to comment

Every body does & the wins in WI is one of the reasons as to why India is a TOP 3 team for some time now... Link to comment

His record in SENA is quite good (as posted earlier) in the top order (also considering how he plays the new ball which adds more to his avg) esp. in the 2nd half (class leading) .... played less than 5 tests in both WI (which is not even an issue) and NZ (2nd highest scorer when everyone failed - Kohli 48 runs for e.g.) Edited January 9, 2021 by zen Link to comment
