  1. 1. Will England suprise us in the upcoming home series?

    • Yes
    • No
    • Depends on the players we have available for selection!

Can't believe how so many are underrating or underestimating these guys, England have been our bogey team over the last decade or so even more than NZ :whack:

When did they beat us again under kohli? In India I mean. Last I recall they lost 4 0.

Made us sweat in last two tests & Root for some goddamn reason is most luckiest captain on the planet with tosses.  Batting isn't an issue for them but I think their spinners are mediocre.  Also they nearly beat us in Rajkot in 1st game.

Poms did sweat more last time in 2018. Infact Curran saved their butts on 3 occassions. Not to mention we missed bumrah for 2 games. Bhuvi the swing king din't even play.

We had a makeshift opening pair.

We had a fair share of bad luck in England..  But thing is they do have the batting on pattas. They also handle spin better than most non SC teams.  I think we have to out bat them again like last time.

Had India won tosses in England in 2018, India would have won 5 0. What is the point you are making?

Without a first choice playing eleven, if all the tosses go England's way we can lose the series at home - I'm not counting the 2018 series, where did you get that idea? It's the 2016 series I'm talking about, England can beat us if the pitches aren't dead as a Dodo - that's the only way they beat us, of course our catching is going to be horrible so there's that

We won't prepare pattas. It will be a decent pitch with something for both bowlers and batsmen.

Not only is our spin combo deadly. England will have to deal with bumrah, Shami if he is back, Ishant and Yadav.

Hav you seen the bowling England are facing ? Lmao Lanka missing Suranga Lakmal, some other pacer and a couple of other players. Their best batsman isn't even playing. Kuranaratne.

This embuldeniya is a good spinner..  He has bowled well in SA even.  D Perera has a good record as well vs touring sides. Hasaranga is A/R.   Tbh they are doing the same to Lanka what they did to India in batting deptt.  But lankans don't have the batsmen to out bat them

2016 they never faced bumrah though. Bumrah Shami Yadav or Ishant plus spin duo. Axar and whatever even bishnoi will be enough.

Umesh is indeed a beast in India..  Second coming of Marshall here.  Hopefully he's fit.  Last time Poms played Ashwin really well.  It was Jaddu delivering killer blows.  We will blow them away if we have 70% of the attack present
