Kudos to Aussies for not bowling negative lines

Lot of us have expected that as soon as the target is near, they will pack leg side fielding and bowl negative lines.. They have tried a lot of bodyline stuff but haven't resorted to outside legstump lines in last 10 overs.. I think hazlewood bowled one in the very last over but other than that, they stayed positive and kept looking for wickets instead of resorting to cheap gimmicks.

 

Also didn't waste any time deliberately and didn't argue for light etc, just kept trying for a win until the very end. Good competition

NhA NhA lol. It takes a lot of of you to bowl like that's they were winded. If they tried doing that all day, they would be on a stretcher.

India made them. Actually forced them to bowl properly. Make no mistake about it. India obliterated their bowlers so they had to bowl at the stumps as negative bowling wasn't going to last long.

I am not saying that was easy to do or a guarantee not lose strategy, but still it would have cheapened the overall match. This will be one of the all time classics, it deserved proper intent from both sides
