I don't know why some of our fans are so petty and reactionary. We are already winning the match with huge margin, why are you getting so riled up on this? 

 

In the second innings of first match, Rahane's lbw "looked" plumb but ump call saved him. Root didn't argue with umpire, he gave the ball to Jimmy who got rahane with the very next ball. And that was day5 when draw was still possible. Here our win is all but guaranteed

Have thresholds in software, more than 50% mark the impact outside off, less than 50% keep it marked as impacting stumps. I'd go aggressive and do the same for  stumps, but for now concede that hitting stumps can be an umpire's call. With DRS technology, they want to include the human element. That is not needed. Either you decide one way or the other with technology, just like you believe on ball tracking and ultra edge. Another gripe with Indians DRS is hotspot, why are they not using it india? Environmental conditions or some savings on cost. If it is the latter, it is sorry. We need both ultra edge and hotspot justlike in Australia recent series.

Nothing to do with the context of the match, we can make some techinical advancements over human involvement in DRS, that's all. Glad that Home conditions are reverted back after first test, just like in 2017

It's already there, there's this thing called margin of error though which may have worked in Root's favor - I'm also curious how they align the cams & thus DRS & hawkeye! Never seen that being shown, I'm sure if the main cam being used by an operator for video feed, even with a fixed base, will move during its operation. Really should be explained & demonstrated properly!

Iirc it's patented military tech and they are not willing to give it to non Australins

India failed on home advantage against Aus in India and got back the advantage in Bangalore. Just like this year.

Much as we blame umpires’ call for Rohit’s dismissal, the call at 153/6 just before tea saved India today. Pant was able to dominate because of that. It was out in all views, hitting the top of the middle stump bail. If Pant had gone at that time, we would be looking down the barrel at that time. Umps call has to go
