zen
DC, PK and RCB have been among the flavors of the seasons to even reach the final in some of the IPLs, but still remain the only teams to not win a title. Last yr too, DC & RCB made it to the playoffs, while PK missed out in the last game (though did well to win a few games in a row). Will remaining among the "flavors" continue or one of them will finally win the title in 2021? Vote and discuss. Poll closes on May 15th. PS finals played by these teams: RCB - 2009, 2011 & 2016 PK - 2014 DC - 2020 Edited April 11, 2021 by zen
Ankit_sharma03
It all depends on intent, the diff between MI and others is Intent DC- Its a shame that they are wasting hetymer for guys like rahane and previously iyer . Hetymer can win u more games at 3 then others, if he doesnt work then look for plan B not now Throw in Lalit yadav , throw out rahane RCB They lack bowling but they bat deep , so throw caution to the wind and attack , attack and attack Makeup for ur avg bowling by using right matchups PK- they have all rounder issue Again start with attacking option - Jhye+ riley , if it doesnt work then plan B Jordan and if that fails, Plan C- allen/henriques KL has to bat like how he batted in 2018

Some of them will have a good to great game and go missing for a few games in a row. Dhawan probably has been its most dependable batsman. Batting needs to pick up RCB: Relied too much on a few individuals (esp. ABDV-Kohli-Gayle batting) to ignore other spots in the team in the past. Probably getting better this yr in fielding a team with depth PK: It has a few impact players. If some of those players do well, it can do well But still a high chance of these teams messing up when it counts If we eliminate these flavor teams, looking at them as ones that may spoil other teams' chances for playoffs but not necessarily win (until they prove otherwise), CSK (which can continue to struggle), and SRH (may face batting issues so if its bowling does not click), it leaves MI, RR (if it realizes its potential) and KKR (solid lower middle order so if it clicks. Inconsistent last yr though) as top early tournament contenders (also depends upon the form in the later stages and if some of the other teams pick up their game) Edited April 11, 2021 by zen
Lone Wolf
RR has much more firepower than these sides.. They are like Luke Skywalker who is yet to realize his full potential. Hopefully this time.
