Shami and Bumrah both aren't new ball bowlers. A good new ball bowler can also help increase effectiveness of first and second change fast bowlers. Edited June 30, 2021 by rkt.india

Even in Australia, bumrah was never good with new ball. He is so much more devastating with old ball.
