Collectively and Indian ATG bowling attack would be top notch and trouble all ATGs.

Srianth, bumrah, shami, kapil and ashwin or kumble is a strong ATG attack. As a whole they are top class.

You can keep dreaming … Let alone ATG sides, I doubt if they can even trouble top sides like 80s WI, 00 Aus and SA :((

Don’t engage him bro he’s a grade A troll... he’s trying to be the Mamoon of ICF but not only is he not Indian but he’s getting trashed in debates with literally every poster here:giggle:

Mamoon is a top class poster on pp.

They would. We never had more than 1 quality bowler at a time in past eras pre 2010.

Kapil in 80s had to carry the team by himself

Srinath in 90.

And then zaheer in 2000 to a lesser extent.

Then we had bumrah and shami.

Put bumrah shami and srinath together and it becomes a beastly attack. Along with kapil.

The top ATG teams, along with great teams like 80s WI, 00 Aus and SA, become beastly too on paper :((

Windies ya.

Aussie? We have seen their best play together. McGrath Warne. Add Cummins and ? Gillespie or hazelwood.

Sa? Steyn rabada Donald Pollock ?

All pretty similar. It's tough for all teams. Imo batting will be the difference.

Most fans know that Ind ATG on paper is a mid to bottom tier side :(( …  We have already done some threads on ATG sides

Number 4 to be precise. Maybe 3. Our overrated batting let's us down a little. Collectively our team is unbeatable at home. Especially ATg side. We would win away in sena given our collective bowling strength except in w.indies and Australia.

I dont see any ATG SIDE BEATING INDIA in India. But I can see couple of AtG sides beating Aussies in Australia, s.africa in s.africa etc.

Pakistan would get swatted aside by India. They never faced our ATg bowling side. We have already experienced theirs.

Yes

Like said, I don't see ATG aussie or ATg s.afrixa stand a chance vs India in India. India can make it a contest away in those 2 countries. They have a better chance of winning there compared to them vice versa in India.

A theoretical AUS ATG side would have Warne and Ponting - two proven duds in India. It'll also have Bradman and Lillee - one with no experience of subcontinent and another who played a few and bombed hard.

So 4 duds. Good luck to this side to win even against India's second XI in India.

S.africa is more of a threat tbh. Rabada and their spinners were duds In India. However Donald and steyn can wreak havoc. Pollock to a lesser extent. However they never faced our combined aTg bowling attack along with our spinners. India would still pummel them at home and be competitive away.

Why not place them at 3 or 4. They are that good.

Lack of quality, ability to do well in specific conditions only (ATG matches are assumed to take place in sporting conditions)

It can win a match here and there v top sides but that is about it
