im just talking bout test , there also if he has to play he ll be playing as bowling all rounder not batting. Jadeja plays as batting all rounder overseas

In t20 i myself say play him at 7 over jaddu , axar , sundar, krunal

I still have a huge problem with jadeja batting at 7 in LOI , unless he has overs to bat he just cant get going most days

hes improved on that last 2 years.

 

but I agree with Shardul at 7. And Ashwin at 8. With Chahal in,we need someone who can turn the ball the other way

i still dnt remember even few innings when he got going from ball 1 with very few overs left

 

Aus 3rd ODI knock he had 20 overs

AUS t20 knock again had decent enough overs

 

That harshal patel onslaught, if u check again he had overs and by that over he was not going at a  great s.r and harshal feeded him slot balls

Sample size is small so I'm not convinced too. So Thakur at 7 and an offie at 8 is best because Chahal is fixed
