ShoonyaSifar Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Can I add one more thing - Kuldeep's revival as a spinner. He could be an all format spinner for us and can play for the next 8-10 years and adds a lot of attacking teeth to our LOI bowling. If Dravid and Rohit cannot get him back on track, his career is done.

I don’t know Rahul personally but his service to cricket and his clean professional record speaks for itself. Would you rather believe Dravid who is a millionaire and still minting money via commitments and endorsements living in a bungalow in some posh Bangalore suburb close to NCA, or would you rather believe Rahul Dravid living in some rundown multi- storey building in a 2 bedroom apartment with his 2 kids and his taking care of his old parents and in-laws? I mean I can see Sachin,Virat driving Ferraris or Dhoni on his Harley,Suzuki etc but I think Dravid drives his 800/Chetak scooter to NCA everyday. That itself proves his honesty and integrity. That is likely to be false/urban myth. In most metros, cars older than 20 years won't get a pollution control clearance. Dravid would be breaking rules if he were driving an 800 and it would be plastered all over social media. Edited November 10, 2021 by Mariyam

Having seen zaheer bowl at 150 k and nehra always above 140 k , the right word to use for them is trundlers at will . Go back to the World Cup finals which we lost to aussie . Throughout World Cup their speeds were in the 140s . Fair to say that they could swing and seam and zaheer was a maestro at reverse swing . india doesn’t need a boult . Zaheer got us a World Cup … current trundlers only know knuckle balls .

mani sha Posted November 13, 2021 Author Posted November 13, 2021 Test match squad against new land changes and policy - this is the best change I have seen by Dravid so far - has rested pant , bumrah and a few players more . Got bharat to play and allowing vihari to be ready to play blockathon in South Africa by sending him to sa a team vs ind a the test team so far has been the best choice with correct changes coupled with a decent change to the ind a team in sa Dravid is settling in paras maham Rey was an astute bowler snd likely is a good add on unsure about rathore Teams will start looking more and more apart
mani sha Posted November 21, 2021 Author Posted November 21, 2021 India new land series t20 Dravid score 5/10 what he has done right this series - debut of v Iyer - Rohit as captain played all three games honing his skills as captain - Harshal patel debut . - has not made dramatic changes and instead allowed players to be relaxed . negatives - avesh khan got no chance in a 3 match series reliance league over reliance on 130 k bowlers ( unsure if he is looking for bowlers who can bat a bit or bowlers whom he considers smart to restrict oppositions ) no trial of explosive batters - pant trying to be a dhoni in t20 is exact opposite approach of what most of us as a consensus group agree . sky , kishan needed more game time but we continue to give top 3 batters all the game time thereby not developing a good middle order . in short - 5 points for winning a meaningless series with no true answers and for settling in without major controversies . 5 points cut out for not giving enough chances , exposure to young batters , bowlers like avesh .
