Yet, you never had any clause by clause argument.

You just want the status quo to prevail, the poor farmers will get exploited by the system, and the richer will get richer.

You and your side are hopeless, as you never had any solutions. Yoour side just want to preserve their own wealth and greed.

Clause by clause arguement wouldn't convince you.. Irrespective of the laws farmers are Still going to get poorer. It is tough being  a farm err

I don't see it happening, 16% jatt Sikhs of Punjab control 90% of agricultural land, they have huge political representation in the state, Sikh religious organisations under them, including sgpc, new industries would mean they could lose power both economically and politically, they hate private players and corporates, What ever little industries and small manufacturing units they had have moved to nearby Haryana and Himachal due to law/order ,ease of business and cheaper land, Punjab is not what we see in films and music, it is the most feudal like region in India where religion/sikhi is used as a political tool to control masses. Bihar and bengal which grows more wheat and paddy does not get msp for their, both Bihar and bengal are fertile and have huge rainfall hence growing paddy and wheat would be apt for such a environment, Punjab uses ground water and toxic chemicals, environmentally Punjab is destroying its natural soil for economic gain. Green Revolution enabled punjabs farmers such a extent that they have control hegemony over the agriculture sector in North. Religion is used as a black mailing tool.

Punjab is diverse. Jats may control power structure now but look at the new CM. He is non jat. Changes happen slowly. Most of the farmers in punjab have to sell land to send a kid abroad to make a living. The remittance from abroad keeps them going. Rank and file farm err r is destitute

It's the time that matters. Stubble is burnt mostly in November and it creates severe pollution. Delhi doesn't have same pollution level all year round. Winters magnify it during this time because of stubble burning which doesn't happen all year round.

But it is only 10%

What about the other 90%. But let us blame the 10% for 90% of problem.

On principle I do agree stubble burning needs to stop.

Not just khalistanis but there is huge Hindu hatred in a average Sikh psyche, I have seen and experienced it before hand. Hindus should wake up, they are neither allies nor friends.

You are spreading vitriol . There is no distrust or dislike the communities are very close but it does not serve RSS agenda that communities get along.

No no hardly any enterprising Sikhs abroad, they are the same illegal migrants, over staying visas folks, fake marriages to get citizenship, uneducated, money laundering, drug abuse, only the African Sikhs who were expelled from east Africa have made a honest living, Brampton, California, southall etc are just ghettos in the western world, the obsession to move oversees by hook or crook without any academic background and skills is very high in Punjab circles, all fake show and fukrepanti.

Hate dripping from every word you write. Was this self learned or acquired.

I will look at the numbers but peak burning could cause a spike.

No, farmers selling their land to send their children overseas isn't down to poverty or lack of capital but clear obsession for the western world and materialism, a fake narrative has been created around living a king sized life overseas by sikhs but in reality it ain't, most of the Punjab youth who go overseas live in rented basements, hardly saving anything due expenses and do low pay jobs, Punjab farmers get subsidies for loans which in return they spend on modifying their tractors and installing 5 AC's in a single home, at the same time free 24/7 running water, outside agriculture their ain't any scope in other sectors of Punjab, cm channi becoming cm was down to a quick resuffle, he is just a proxy but jatts still political and economical control over the state.

In all honesty what this episode is going to lead to- a lot of not punjabis who had an indifference of Sikhs will not feel polarised. Especially farmers in the rest of India who were supporting these reforms - they will see this is Sikhs using the Khalistan movement to arm twist the government and deny them the reforms they needed. So now there will be a massive fuel in anti Sikh sentiment and the khalistanis will lap it up.

Only on ICF people see this issue as Hindu vs Sikh . Most people here cannot think beyond religion. DMK congratulated farmers , KCR recently threatened that he will himself sit on dharna if farm laws are not repealed. Even BJP Karnataka CM hail decision. Almost entire Indian politicians welcomed the decision. Do you think they don't care about their own farmers ?

Yes communities are very close, this is why over 40,000 Hindus were killed during khalistani militancy period starting from the late 70s to mid 90s, even now Hindu religious leaders are killed, hundreds of more Hindus had left Punjab due to khalistani terrorism. Nothing as changed, Sikhs openly spew Hindu hate.

That is your narrative. Lot of them do send money back home. Half the money they earn. Give Channi time and he will establish himself. Dont underestimate him. The biggest problem Punjab had was the corruption of Badal family. They ran the state as their domain.

ICF has a very disproportionate percentage of people who hate minorities

Th eff y want to bring hate and dislike in every thing they do. They want to turn zn economic issue into a religious issue so that th eff y can stay in power.

So what have Sikhs overseas excelled in? IT, engineering, science, academics, how many sikhs in NASA? How many CEOs of large and successful corporates are Sikhs? Driving rented flashy cars, taking part in anti India, anti Hindu activities, being under isi payroll does not make you successful. Don't forget sikhs were very close to the British, infact Sikhs were highly pampered and after 1857 war they were the most trusted group by the Brits hence canal creation in Punjab enabled sikhs the most, even after such a headstart Punjab is still struggling to compete with western and southern Indian states.

Every state is diverse, but in no other state does a 16% community control 90% of land, that to in a high ranking agricultural state, there is always 4-5 communities who own agri land and have equal holdings. The farm bill protests was a caste based one.

The reason punjab has been left behind is because the government used the excuse that punjab is CV lose th o thr border so they will not make industrial investments in the state

Look the the amount of PSU in karnatka.

Give Channi time. It is not about Jatts either. Jatts have sacrificed allot for punjab and the nation

They are truly nice people if you get to know them.
