it's because they are reasonably accurate, and indian domestic batters (talking about regular joes, not the elites) are horrible against "pace" bowling

Then how come true fast bowlers like shami averaged 27 in ranji and then bumrah albeit good averaged 24.5 in ranji. 24 is good but still higher than say undacutta and even hershal harshal. 

 

Prasidh is sacry with his bounce. Porel has bounce. Tyagi has bounce. Anyway the future is looking solid. 

 

Soon I reckon we will be fielding bumrah prasidh avssh tyagi.

shami played on real roads, as did boom. while there are still roads, there is a bit more purchase. moreover, batting against pace was not that bad when shami was playing

I think we should focus more on bounce based bowlers who bowl around 130-140. With occasional 145 ability. Hostile bowlers are way better than pure speedsters. Speedsters generally lack either bounce bowling ability, injury prone.
