sensible-indian Posted March 17, 2022 Posted March 17, 2022 Pant is GOAT material. He may or may not average 50 but he will be known for his impact knocks. I was chatting with my friend today and he was saying Pant will take Gilly style batting to a whole new level. Hope he stays fit and doesn't get carried away. Unreal talent.

He can adapt to every country and situation he plays in (as evidenced in his stats) all while being the best glovesman in cricket too. Rizwan will consistently give you runs as evidenced by his 47 average Silly fans like you jumping up and down about indian keeper getting his first MOS award, when Rizwan has already bagged three of them vs NZ, SA and ENG How many away series has he won for your country? Zero, nalla, ghanta lol Pant in his young career has already achieved that then Rizwan+Babar combined. First win a test series or even a test in the toughest playing cricket place then talk.

He will be inconsistent. But he can pull off miracles with bat. Rizwan may not give away his wicket easily. Also he cannot touch the peak of Pant as well. Ideally we want Pant to put a price on his wicket and play long. At this point he is still growing as a batsman. He is only 24. Batsmen will hit the peak around 30. RIghtnow Rizwan is 29. Pant is currently ranked 10th in the ICC ranking. Rizwan is at 17th in ICC ranking. His best career ranking so far. By the time Pant finishes his career he will be one of the best keeper in history.
