England and NZ games vs Sri Lanka in Sydney can mess things up in their group

I didnt gave sides like WI, SL, Bang, Afghan a chance here coz on these pitches u need high quality batsman against pace n bounce which they lack . 

But if their is one pitch that doesnt challenge batsman against pace n bounce in Aus its Sydney which brings sides like SL, Pak, Bang in picture against sides like Sa, NZ, ENG, Aus 

 

With Aus loosing game against NZ which have always been their sure things have become interesting. No matter what SL still have a dangerous spin duo and pitch in Sydney was dry today . Their batsman also become capable of putting runs on this pitch. Runs on board is all what bowlers need and not to forget in Sydney mixing pace is handy which brings even someone like Binura  Fernando and Karunaratne in game 

 

SL also have often surprised other teams and lifted their games in Wc. Im expecting one team to fall against them in Sydney and that will mess things up in that group 

Even in 2019 Wc England lost to SL as that pitch suited lanka more

Also Pak faces SA in Sydney too , their problem of playing high pace will not be an issue here . At this venue Pakistan batsman shud enjoy and their bowling is good too

 

These teams with good bowling and avg batting will always have a chance once batsman put runs on board

their batting lacks depth, one collapse is all it will take not to forget one liability at top

That's true. Conditions will play a significant role. In tournaments, it is never like since A beat B and B beat C so A will beat C. It all comes down to conditions and how good a team is on certain conditions where the match is played.

 

Here are some of the matches and where conditions will favour one team:

 

IND vs SA in Perth - SA because KG and Nortje can clock 145+. Nortje did tried to clock 150 in Ranchi as well but not much happened there because pitch was slow. This is Perth now. India have Bhuvi, Arshdeep and Harshal who will not look to bounce out SA batsman as they are incapable of doing that.

 

Pak vs SA in Sydney - Pak has higher chance here.

 

SL vs NZ and Eng in Sydney - Again it can be close.

 

Does Afghanistan has any game in Sydney vs NZ or Eng? Against Afg, I think Aus will play Smith to handle their spinners.

 

Also, tomorrow's game between SL and Ireland can he tricky as it is in Hobart where it swings and is generally a highway so Ireland may stand a chance.
