 they are both better than Ind is this tourney, but it's a big stretch to call them best 2. they have played well in patches. downgrading their achievements is silly, but so is overhyping them.

 

next thing, one will be calling them both the best 2 test teams, which they are manifestly not

The english side that demolished India and beat them to a pulp in the semi had mark wood, topley, Malan and others missing. There is no such thing as a B side in t20s lol.

We didn't have Bumrah, Jaddu either. so what? When was the lastt time England beat India in a T20 series? It is always they win a match here and tehre. That's it.  You lost to ZImbabwe/India. How can you say you are the 2nd best? lol Zimbabwe owned you

you think this is a lot, just wait till they win tomorrow. they will claim that they are better than 80s WI, 00s Aus, and so on.

 

there is no doubt that there is some Indian arrogance among our fans, but most fans on ICF have been rightly lambasting our cricketers for the way we played. And in come all these Pak fans suddenly thinking that their team is a top 2 candidate in all formats.

 

fact of the matter is that Pak is mediocre in Tests, quite ordinary in ODIs, and good in T20s. no more, no less than that. calling it no. 2 or no. 1 in any format - T20s included - is the height of delusions. By the way, my comments also apply to Ind fans who may think we are no. 1 or no. 2 in all formats.

 

this poster used to be somewhat reasonable (although not as much as 1-2 other good Pak posters on ICF), but I guess he is also just as overboard as the rest.

This thread is about this tournament and the t20 ive watched over the last couple of years or so. An opinion thats all. Nobody is claiming Pak is a worldbeating test/odi side.

Let me quote the title of the thread to you, in case you had forgotten: "The two best T20 sides are in the final"

 

Two best t20 sides in what sense? There is equally a case to be made for NZ and Aus if we consider last two years. Even Ind would have been in the mix, but we are a bunch of chokers (no excuses).

 

and the reason no one is claiming Pak is a worldbeating test/odi side is because things are quiet. the moment your team makes it to test championship or ODI WC final (neither of which seem likely to me), we will suddenly hear about how they are better than imran's team, the Aus 99-07 sides, the WI 80s side, and so on.

No you got beaten by Srilankan team twice back to back. Clearly you are not the "best" side as you claim.
