BeautifulGame Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 He bowled well particularly considering he is on a comeback after 2 years.Also his left arm angle will add another dimension to our ODI side since we only have Zaheer and he hardly plays ODIs. Should be given more chances with and will add more to the team than someone like Vinay IMO.Heartening to see him bowling at decent pace too.

Any improvement in his bowling and speed? average speed was 130 K in first spell second spell was slower wit his tendency to bowl cutters. sadly does not look like a test bowler.

Mithun bowled 7 overs only... Pathan bolwed 9 overs.... So he was best Indian phast bowler of the day?

They analyzed his action from 2007 with today's action, both Manjrekar and Walsh agreed this is a positive change in action. Manrekar says its like a batsman going from a very low backlift to a high backlift. Would have loved to hear Bishop's thoughts on Irfan's new action.
