Must say, Dhawan is himself to blame for being ousted out of the ODI side. He was the captain last year and now it is very hard for him to break through to the Indian ODI XI given the contributions of Shubham. While I feel good for the youngster, I feel bad for Shikar who missed most of ODI wc 2019 and is going to miss WC 23. He has always been a beast in ICC tournaments winning us CT 2013 and high performances in others. 

What do you think is the future fate for Dhawan. I think that it is gone and now he is confined to entertain only through highlights and may be IPL.

He is to blame for what? Getting old? That is out of his control. Ultimately it was slowing reflexes that caught up with him. A great servant to Indian ODI cricket, but surely his time is up and hope we do not see him again.
