There's no selection everyone can agree upon. If that was the case, we would not need special selectors. Everyone agreed on one thing though, Non-performers need to be kicked out, but when three or four players lose form at the same time, how would decide which one to back? That's where bias kicks in, every selector will have his own choices.

Chhutad Sharma needs to answer that since Gujara & Rahane got dropped after SA tour,   

How come Gujara came back into the test team after smashing C grade Division 2 county trundlers?? 

And Sarfaraz,  Patidar who performed in Doemstics & Patidar for India A were not given a chance.

Gill was supposed to be fit in Middle order but why such delay. 

On what grounds was Gujara brought back.??

Sure selection is not about numbers alone. So look at technique, approach and confidence. Does KL look good in any of those?No. You can back talent and ability upto a point and when there is no strong alternative but that's not the case here.

It is like cheat code, you go to County cricket, smash few village players, you get back on the team. Rahane is following it this summer, you will see him getting back to team for next SENA tours.
