Frustrated
Visiting asian sides such as SL (now) and Toygers (last year) hv been able to put the kiwis under the pump . Not sure why Ind continue to get whitewashed in NZ every time, with the matches finishing within 2 and a half days. The argument about kiwis preparing green wickets for us may be true but then this test right now is also being played on a green pitch , yet SL are making Nz toil very hard. Adamant
No boult, no Jamieson. That's the reason why SL is able to compete. Link to comment

But what about the test series vs Toygers in Nz last year? Both Boult and Jamieson played , yet Toygers drew the test series 1-1 last year. Link to comment

We have been carried by our top clas pacers for 5-6 years now. Now pacers are also ageing. We need new blood. India needs to select players with proper technique. Select players like Gill, sundar, jaiswal, patidar and for bowling We need to pick one or 2 good swingers too. Then we can beat them away from home. They are nothing special. We got whitewashed last time but the tour before that in 2014 we had a lot of chances to win both games and put up decent scores throught too. Ishant had a great spell in one innings when we dismissed them for 105. We won in 2007 too. Link to comment

Also nz has not won a single test in India in 20 years or something. Maybe 30. Yes we did come really close in 2014. We won in 09 but yea 2021 and 2020 we got hammered. Shluxh a shame. We drop intensity vs them for some reason. Blame coolie. Link to comment

Frustrated
Wagner is injured and can't bowl at all. With one bowler short, SL might cash in and win this test. SL already hv a lead of 132 with 6 wickets left. Link to comment
