Given that it happens in OCtober Monsoon pattern plays a big role in picking these venues. Some matches may be a shortened affair. Padosis are lucky that matches happen during this season. In drier conditions they will be even more Tested.

I am all for being fair to everyone and leaving politics out the door but Pakistan is playing a dangerous game here. This isn't Bangladesh or Sri Lanka they can just bully around without much consequence. Their new chairman seems to be already drawing up the drama with this and the Asia Cup hybrid model again it seems. Not sure if they realize India can hurt their cricket a lot.

For instance, unwilling to go/participate in any ICC tournament held in Pakistan. Cutting ties with players willing to play in PSL and won't let them participate in IPL. As how things stand, ICC won't let go of India and it's money. Players won't let go of IPL and it's money. They can substitute PSL money by playing in BBL/BPL/SPL/etc. 

Very stupid from PCB's end. This will get them nowhere.
