2016 Asia Cup was T20 format though, if I recall correctly.

Last time Afg qualified for the Asia Cup Super 4s. They do have a tough group with SL and Bangladesh. 

 

Asia Cup seems to be too long though imo. Should be just SFs instead of Super 4s.
