Sohail Tanveer is gonna trouble the Indian batsmen a lot in the future... Gonna be a handful for our batsmen. Seems like a find for Pak.
I think Tanvir's showing in the Delhi and Bangalore tests is more indicative of his real threat. He's the sort of bowler who will be fantastic in the shorter forms of the game, but in the five day version he can be ruthlessly exposed for his lack of real variation and his inability to really outthink batsmen and plan wickets. His T20 record may be fantastic, but his first class record in Pakistan (against some pretty sh-tty batting) is mediocre - 91 wickets in 26 games at an average of nearly 33. These speak far more than that shythouse purple cap. http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ipl/engine/match/297806.html http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ipl/engine/match/297807.html

^ True in Delhi and Blore he struggled. He seems to have grown in confidence these days, however. But good to read ur post, and I hope what you say comes true - I'll be really happy if Tanveer is a Test failure, not really looking fwd to Pak producing good pacers :D
