Sachinism
http://content-www.cricinfo.com/countycricket2008/engine/current/match/319875.html he had 160 after 47 overs so he added 41 runs in the last 3 overs, dont know how many balls he faced Link to comment
The Outsider
Wow! And only one other batsman crossed 50, more so the strike rates of others were below 100. With T20 in the mix, one record which won't hold for too long is Anwar's 194 - it's only a matter of time before we see an ODI hundred. Link to comment
amits
besides anwars 194, even afridis 37-ball 100 is in threat. however sehwag will eventually break laras 400 Link to comment

The Outsider
I agree with printex - Afridi's record will be one of the toughest to beat. Scoring almost 3 runs per ball for 100 runs is really difficult and something only a brainless slogger can do. Link to comment
Predator_05
That's nothing. Surrey's Ali Brown once hit 260 off 160 odd balls in a 50 over C&G Trophy game back in '02. That was a ridiculous match too, as Surrey made 420 odd and Glamorgan nearly chased it down...:haha: Records galore Link to comment
Sachinism
I remember watching match on cricinfo lolll The Oval is a real road heres that match http://www.cricinfo.com/db/ARCHIVE/2002/ENG_LOCAL/C+G/SCORECARDS/R04/SURREY_GLAM_C+G_19JUN2002.html Ali Brown made 200+ once in a 40 over game Link to comment
Predator_05
The Oval is a proper cricket ground too, unlike the Nairobi Gymkhana (where Shafridi hit his 37 ball 100) which is more like a schoolboys' ground. Not much international cricket is played there now, so the big hitters from Australia, India, SA, NZ may never get a chance to go berserk on it... Link to comment
ludhianvi
wow, 200 is some great feat. I played park cricket today and the highest I made was around 20 in a 8 over match  I must confess that playing down the ground all the time. I cant seem to slog that well when the time arrives. The elbows get interlocked too soon to have a big heave Link to comment
