The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced Team India’s squad for the upcoming all-format tour of South Africa. The Indian team will participate in three T20Is, three ODIs and two Test matches starting December 10. During the tour, India A will also play two four-day matches against South Africa A and one inter-squad three-day match.

on African bouncy Pitches - do they expect Spinners to get any kind of assistance? Jaddu and Kuldeep on australian bouncy tracks are not required instead Bishnoi and Washington could manage as Bishnoi is a difficult Spinner and a total t20 success and washington is a genuine Spinning all rounder ..Jaddu and Kuldeep could play ODI's instead.

IS Arshdeep the best left-arm pacer we have?? is Khaleel better than Arshdeep??

Deepak Chahar failed in the only T20 he played yesterday and I hear he has some big fitness issues. does it make sense to pick him - yes it makes sense but only if he is fully fit???

is Mukesh Kumar better than BHUVI??? Why not Kuldeep Sen Or Mayank Yadav? is Mukesh better than Kuldeep Sen or Mayank Yadav?

AXAR does not turn in India , will he succeed as a Spinner in Africa?

KULCHA are good but the pitches would be customised and tailored so that they dont get any assistance.

i feel Avesh will suceed as he can push and bowl 140+and now his line n length is better. Arsh has slowed down a bit so i feel Khaleel could have been considered.

Deepak Chahar - is he fit ? yesterday he was bowling in 120"s in t20..what will he do in ODI...wrong PICK.

Thats a Good team...Kuldeep Sen is a better bowler for tests and ODI then Mukesh kumar...

A lot depends on Rabada - he has not been the same bowler he was since Steyn retired. Jansen, Nortje and Coetzee are good support 2/3 wicket bowlers. Rabada can do the fifers.

Can't wait to see clueless kohli, iyer kl Rahul vs SA in SA. They will get absolutely hammered there. 

 

Also pacers. It's good to pick Mukesh 120kmph alongside thakur who had that fluke 7 fer, bumrah and the wayward siraj. 

 

We will definitely make wrong selections in batting and bowling. Need a tall bowler there like kuldeep Sen or harshit. 

 

I wouldn't even bother with spin. Just have jadeja at 6 and get jaiswal to roll the arm as the 6th option. 

 

8 to 11 should be all pace. Sorry military medium.

Rabada has beaten rohit so many times. He owns rohit. Will be hard for rohit in rabada's country.

Literally anyone from A team is better than that man kohli.

Sai is a good bat. Sarfraz is a Khadoos batsman and hence i will be surprised if he fails in Africa- knowing Mumbai batsman..i will be surprised if He does not score runs, if he gets to score 30 runs , he may score 100 too. Shardul was not required. Prasidh will get some good opportunities to brush up his skills. Kaverappa is Prasidh's back up- good height and bounce, ideal bowler for African pitches. Tushar is a Shammi-type skiddy pacer but does not have the skills to put the ball on seam but he has genuine pace and Hence I am positive about him too.

 

Harshit may get to play in the 11 in the 3rd 4 day Match..he bowls well and seems to bat as well and probably he and Rajywardhan hingarkar are the 2 genuine pace allrounders except for Hardik. these 2 are guys with AR Potential.
