As added in the title, a hypothetical thread about what if these countries played cricket more seriously with local population having interest in the sport.

 

1. US - Would invest a lot in research/biomechanics of the sport. Would poach a lot of carrebian talent and create some absolute freaks fielders or bowlers breaking fast bowling records or some insane six hitters.

 

2. Brazil/Argentina - I guess will be around same level as India/Pakistan. Big talent pool, some really talented players coming through. Not as tactically good. 

 

3. Germany/Netherlands - Will be big powerhouse. Will be like Aus or NZ of today in terms of efficiently utilising resources, strategies etc. 

 

Add more.

 

 

China:they would spend big and be competitive 

France/Italy :more athletic 

Brazil :same as europe 

Holland :same as europe 

Japan:same as china 

South Korea :same as china 

Indonesia :same as china 

Also if cricket was popular there rest assured forget about India nz England even Australia wipl find it difficult to match them

England will be good because they can steal all carribean imports from soccer athletes and they also have access to all top black players in general. So bowling would be good enough. 

.Italy would be garbage. They have garbage athletes. Their talents and athleticism is rubbish in football. 

 

France yes would be elite. Top3 given mbappe and Koloona muani will be bowling at 150 to 160 kmph.

What medals has Italy won recently?

Who said india are a powerhouse? You are making up stories? We don't have the sporting culture to compete.

 

Maybe for these athletic sports we should poach african talents like the great European nations or amreeka

 

Even Jamaica ha e higher average family income compared to us.

 

Italy deposit being bankrupt has a higher family income than us.

 

We won't be able to compete anytime soon regardless whether we have the talent or not.

 

We don't have sporting culture nor sporting iq anyway.

 

We should compete in programming competition but even there we will get owned by Russia.
