IndianRenegade Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 How is Yusuf's fielding? As far as I have seen he has been good... should have at least stopped 2 boundaries with a good slide!
amits Posted June 13, 2008 Author Posted June 13, 2008 should give Yusuf Pathan more overs DHONI you listening give Yusuf Pathan full 10 overs thats what i am saying. in domestic odis yusuf pathan bowls his 10 overs most of the time
chanakya Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 As far as I have seen he has been good... should have at least stopped 2 boundaries with a good slide! should have or did?
IndianRenegade Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 should have or did? What I meant was if it wasn't for his slide it should have been a 4.... yes he did stop a couple of boundaries...
@-v-!7- Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 why is dhoni under bowling offspiners? he doesnt give bowling to rohit sharma or sehwag either. i think he doesnt like when ball rotates to the right.
@-v-!7- Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 :icflove: @|v|!7$, Do you have an "open" Orkut profile as well or "regional blocked"? :haha: In otherwords, Got Orkut? :D i dont use impure sites like orkut. i dont need some turkish site to make friends. i make girlfriends on pure indian sites and cricket sites.
amits Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 and again he gives just 2 overs to yusuf pathan despite the fact that he got a bit of turn from the pitch. maybe dhoni & piyush chawla have something between themselves & chawla doesnt want another spinner to become a threat for his place in the team. chawla was being smashed all over for 85 runs in 10 overs without picking up a wicket. worst of all, yuvraj singh, who is only a part timer bowled 4 overs dhoni seems to be having something against yusuf pathans bowling in the same way he has something against badrinaths batting
SachDan Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Amit, you are absolutely spot on. He's under bowling him.
jf1gp_1 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 dhoni seems to be having something against yusuf pathans bowling in the same way he has something against badrinaths batting but he knows a thing or two about winning so have patience. there is a reason why he is leading the Indian side and not you.
IndianRenegade Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Why? BECAUSE he relies on his instincts and unfortunately his instinct hasn't been good towards Yusuf!
jf1gp_1 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Why? BECAUSE he relies on his instincts and unfortunately his instinct hasn't been good towards Yusuf! oh come on talk sense isnt Yusuf in team while uthappa warming bench
IndianRenegade Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 oh come on talk sense isnt Yusuf in team while uthappa warming bench Why doesn't that makes sense... Dhoni explains away most of his controversial decisions as instinctive ones!
amits Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 and under-bowling yusuf costs india the match just like how under-batting badrinath cost csk in the ipl. cant believe yusuf pathan, who is a regular bowler in domestic cricket & bowls about 70% of his quota in domestic cricket, got to bowl just 2 overs
flamy Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 hm... kinda strange that he gave Raina an over while holding back Yusuf.
amits Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 11 runs off 2 overs wasnt a bad start by yusuf pathan. and he should have got atleast 7-8 overs at a time when piyush chawla was getting smashed all over
amits Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 i hope dhoni learns from this mistake and bowls yusuf pathan regularly in asia cup if he is going for <5.5 an over
