graphic23 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I like superhero films, actually. I was very very disappointed with Superman Returns (Superman V, I guess). I liked the original Superman with Christopher Reeve, who acted really well in Rear Window as well. Like most others, I loved Batman Begins - I really enjoyed the first part of the movie where he studies somewhere in Asia (in China?) and the second half was also pretty good. I liked Iron Man but perhaps because I went in with low expectations - Downey Jr. was brilliant in the film. The special effects were also very nice.

PaiN_KiLLeR Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Superhero movies are money-spinners (unfortunately), so it is pretty obvious that the 'Incredible Hulk' producers must've offered Norton atleast 10 times the amount he got for starring in 25th Hour. He would have to have very strong reasons for refusing such an offer. The only superhero movies I've ever liked were Batman Begins & Iron Man (to a lesser extent). Spiderman is the worst of the lot. BTW Aditi, don't Rhythm & Hues have a pretty strong workforce in Mumbai too?
coffee_rules Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 The first SPider-man was v.good. The last spidey one was totally inspired from Ekta Kapoor TV serials. Full of Drama, love triangles, villians turning good and dying sacrificing for the hero's love...No wonder it was a big hit in India.

That is such an interesting job.[/quote'] Thanks!! :) Systems Operator isn't all that interesting lol...it's basically help desk/IT Systems support (mostly software, some hardware) for the artists working in the studio.

Oki, I thought it was to do with special effects or 3d stuff animation. But you still get the goodies that come with the job like posing with the oscar award:--D

I have heard of 3ds Max, Maya, XSI to name a few of the 3d programs. I think I've read that Maya is used in quite a few of the moves. Which one do you guys use?
