indian batsmen lack power ,no wonder we struggle in wt20s

There are guys who can hit better than Kohli at #3.  Far better.

Select them and then we can at least compare logically.

They don't have anyone who can be called power hitters.

Top order Abhishek has done very well so far in this IPL, hope he does well in remaining matches and gets into world t20 squad. That will solve one problem.

we have to somehow develop likes of parag and samad ,these two have natural power but needs to improve.

Then rinku and tewatia are more into piercing the gap rather than power.

I don't think Parag is a power hitter. He is typical Indian batter who needs to get set before hitting, let us see how he does in future matches.

Tewatia is useless, is only good for IPl. Rinku is the best finisher in India in t20s but he is again a gap hitter and timer.

parag has natural power unlike most of our batsmen, whether he takes time to get set to launch in the last over is another issue.

If given take time to set, Rohit is more deadly than any Indian batsmen. But you need power hitter to score 30 of 10 balls. That is what India has lacked for last 15 years and still lacking.

Should we look at the West Indians and turn them into just Indians when they are young?? At least start with some of those with Indian heritage

i dont think any black West Indian would willingly want to be Indian- no offence

then atleast need to attack the spinners in the middle overs.

In the last wt20 sf hardik got 50 off his last 18 balls off the pacers ,but was too slow upfront.

Indians don't sweep in general so can be limited against spin bowling. But I still feel that total could have been defended better.

When you take no wickets, no total is enough to defend.

Chasing always is better in t20s.

it is increasingly about chasing in the knockouts ,specially since 2014 .
