reasons-

Rishabh was not supremely fit in the IPL- Samson's fitness is way better than Rishabh at least for the World Cup.

His performance was also Average.  

Samsun is a Steady BATSMAN and who is at the Peak of his prowess now- rishabh is recovering and he requires a little more time to be at his Peak.

 

We cant dump dube , nor can we dump jaiswal so Abhishek should come ahead of RISHABH. ABhishek can be a Spare batsman in the 15 ahead of GILL.

 

2. if ARSHDEEP is not at his best form , we should get some one else to be in the 15- KHALEEL is the best bet else Harshit. khaleel is the best left-arm quick we have today.

BOOM and Siraj are good( siraj is back in form). Shammi is unfit.

Hardik pandya has to be in form both as batsman and as a bowler. he is out of form but even at his 50 % strength , his position cannot be challenged as he can bat well and bowl well - I feel he is coming back from injury so will be in.

 

3, Bishnoi is a better t20 bowler than Chahal. bishnoi bats better , fields better and bowls equally well. 

 

 

 

We need 2 Wks in the squad just in case.

Sadly, neither Indian TM/BCCI nor some of the foolish fans will ever realise that.
