There shouldn't be any ifs and buts at all. Both Rohit and Kohli need to go after CT in 2025. The WC is in 2027 - 3 years from now. Rohit is already on his last legs and Kohli's reflexes are shot. Kohli's getting late on pull shots and that's the first sign the batsman's getting old. No point in carrying oldies in the WC when we have enough batting talent.

One thing I notice is india seems to win mostly when hopes are low. It's like italy in football comp. Keep picking up one major trophy every 15 to 25 years.

A) a spin bowling all rounder to replace jadeja and complement Axar and kuldeep.

 

 

B) A power hitter to replace Dube

 

C) A third pacer incase hardik n shami are injured who is not mukesh

Rohit will definitely go after CT 2025 but don't see the issue with Kohli staying as long as he performs. He's lost a bit of his explosiveness and that will matter less in ODIs as long as he can keep up his form.
