They seem to be taking a risk. If Jurel manages to displace Pant as India's short format wicketkeeper, his brand and by extension the brand of the franchise increases.

 

One of those players who *could* have a multiplier effect.

Venky Mysore has said that Shreyas was their first choice retention and he apparently refused.

 

Our so called superstars think so highly of themselves. Will Shreyas really go for more than 18 cr in the auction?
