You seriously called someone averaging 32 in 5+ as our best player. How much experience did pant, Sundar, Gill, bowling attack of natrajan, thakur, siani and siraj have when they won us the last test series in Australia? The "experienced" kohli was in the 36 all out, after he left players with no experience won the series for us Edited November 4, 2024 by New guy Ultimate_Game 1

You are clubbing it to 2011 and being dishonest when he averaged 47 in 2011. So his genuinely bad period was only 2012 and some months in 2013 Meanwhile kohli has sucked in 4 out of last 5 years. And even in that one year it was one innings helping him out on a flat pitch And the same brain dead DRS excuse when lack of DRS COST indian batsmen more than helped. All in all a poor attempt to defend a batsman who has sucked for 5+ years Edited November 4, 2024 by New guy

I'm not doing anything like that. I know he was a top-3 batter even till the end of 2012 for us—his worst tours were away, but even then he averaged above 35+ in India—that's the point. BRat & RGS don't even look like avg 5 against half decent spinners these days. I can guarantee you that if Eng/Oz tour next 6-12 months here on absolute flat decks, these *s would still not avg above 15-20 on such decks. This is even after accounting for tough pitches/DRS, which some would bring up for their poor returns post 2020/21 at home. The problem is simple: they do not want to spend time at the crease grinding it out; that wasn't the case with SRT even right at the end.

R!TTER Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 They were also lucky that the final was at Eng, and they played 2 tests just before that, and it was a *ing greentop—I mean, sure, we played dogsh!t 9/10 times against them, but it's not like they've not had lots of luck either!

Then what is BCCI doing about it? Apparently they're the most influential body out there but can't do shyte to benefit their own team. Move WTC finals away from England. Make a decision that it needs to alternate coz WTC final in England plays to the strengths of SENA countries and is really neutral or equal for everyone. Host it in sub-continent as well.
