"Experience" trumps "Talent" in India. Despite this epic humiliation the same set of players headed by Rohit and Kohli are headed for Aus. Absolutely no repercussions or accountability.

Define "best" players. Kohli has been a "no show" for 5 years in Tests now. And Rohit has never done anything of note in Tests away from home. Accountability means that players who don't perform need to be held accountable and dropped as a result. Our best players are Pant, Jaiswal, Bumrah, Washington Sundar and our bowlers & lower order.

 

The reason we won in Aus in 2020-21 was coz Kohli ran away and we played youngsters. If we had the same seniors in 2020-21 we would've lost 0-4 but instead we won 2-1. All thanks to everyone contributing and without being weighed down by all that "experience" and so called "best players".

Many here may not be old enough to rememeber the Richard Hadlee 33 wickets series in Australia in 1985/86 (NZ won 2-1 against an Australian side depleted by South Africa rebel tour defections).

Averaging 32 for 5+ year, which kohli is doing makes him one of the worst player in any team in the world. But fans genuinely think these are the "best" players.
