Trichromatic Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 Would it help economy if there are more affordable 2 wheelers and larger segment of population owns it? 47% of household own 2 wheeler. Over 90% of household own some vehicle in USA. Ideally even for India, number of households owning 2 wheelers should be 70-80% saving lot of time.
randomGuy Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 (edited) EV scooter with removable battery could be game changer. Ola is coming up with 1.5kwhX2 removable battery scooter(ola s1 z) for 60k. Hopefully it is a reliable scooter. Edited December 25, 2024 by randomGuy

I believe the inflation in Raw material costs has pushed the cost of two wheelers up. Unless we have a break through in material science, they are not going to get cheaper.

The raw material cost will push it beyond 80k.
