How can Indian Airforce achieve total air domination in South Asia ?

I've been a huge fan of the classical US style of air domination which follows this template : 

 

1) Have a massive Armada off the coast / port of the adversary - aircraft carrier, destroyers, corvettes raining 100s of Tomahawk cruise and ballistics missiles to annihilate the airbases, air defenses of the adversary.

 

2) Once the enemy's airforce and air defense is crippled, top of the line fighters enter the airspace and begin strafing vital installations --- without any resistance.  Even then some low flying aircrafts get taken out by Stingers and remaining low-tech air defense capabilities.

 

We can't do this at a 200 Km distance from  Karachi port with even with a massive armada because Pak Punjab is much out of range of any cruise missile --- but we can do this 100 % if we have a few IAF bases in Afghan-land. This is the guaranteed way to achieving total air domination in South Asia given the geography.

Start by strengthening Navy

 

We need to have atleast 6 Aircraft carriers..More than 30 Nuclear Submarines and plethora of frigate, destroyers. Need to have our Navy seen right from Andaman Sea to Arabian Sea. Setup the Naval command structure in Nicobar islands and on Minicoy Island to have deep penetration in Indian Ocean. Maybe ask for a Setup in Mauritius & Phillipines as well if they agree.

 

For Airforce I heard that we need atleast 42 Squadrons...while we are at 30-31 currently.

Have atleast 50 squadrons, with atleast 5-6 of them needs to be 5th gen. Setup the bases of 5th gen Squadrons in Gwalior, Bareilly, Udhampur, Hasimara & Gorakhpur/Bihta.

The way the current situation is we are behind in AEWCS, lack full squadron strength, and pretty soon Pak will be ahead in fifth generation jets courtesy J35... These three are important to maintain supremacy..before we even think about domination. In South Asia...the only country that can even dare to fight us is Pakistan ..we should address those deficiencies to maintain supremacy. Unfortunately we have essentially 0 chance of competing with China given their dominance manufacturing capability and the massive modernizairon of their fleet. Domestic manufacturing and critical hard engineering skills are needed ..just service and IT isn't going to cut it

Why can't we do it form West and northern India..we don't need Afghanistan or Navy..need longer range cruise missiles...launch saturation strikes like you said but from land. Us needs aircraft carriers as they project strength far from shore and generally fight weaker armies. If they stand up against China in Chinese or Taiwanese waters..that will be a real test for both.

 

I like the idea of Afghanistan and Naval carriers though to stretch their defenses thin.
