One would be crazy to think that this celebration has a risk of injury associated with a full on somersault. The dude had to have his back worked on after that. If he does it multiple times, he could injure himself seriously.

 

Having said that, I love this Jaddu celebration if it came after a team win rather than a century.

No issue with Pant if he can pull it off. Jadeja does it after every 50 or 100 , win or lun

He did it this one time. Even that I am not sure because back twinge followed a little after that.

It was stupid of Gavaskar to ask Pant to do it again when he got to his hundred yesterday. Good on Pant to ward off the temptation. I am sure he would have been advised by the team management after the first innings. He is a crucial batter for India and the last thing we want is for him to injuring himself doing some stupid celebration.
