Guest Hiten. Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Not happy with his performance at all. He was dropped TWICE in his innings. Second (because he was on 100+)one can be pardoned but not the first one(because he was on 16). The reason I say this because Raina was tied down for a while with tight bowling and he decided to go berserk. He got so reckless that he tried to come down the track and played a 'flash in the pan' shot right after he was dropped. Having said that, its obviously commendable that this lad led us to victory 2 times in a row while chasing a sizable total. Raina has got the form, now he needs to put a cool head on his shoulders :two_thumbs_up: Well done Raina!

With tendu pushing for him so much and being given a favoured spot and not shunted around like poor uthappa, if he can't even bat against BD then what good is he? I still don't rate him though, he is good on flat tracks against weak opposition but will come a cropper against decent teams. as he has already proven once earlier.

Dravid should have dropped Ganguly at that time....Gambhir and Uthappa were playing so well..that year..still Ganguly was chosen above them... and since Dhoni was present at that time...he learnt few things from coach..and is trying to implement it.. at least Dhoni is clear about what he wants..
