On my feed, Kuldeep Yadav is the missing hero. 

 

I kinda agree, we needed a fourth bowler for sure. And he was the only untried option.

Most perplexing thing for me was Ashwin singing praises of Kambhoj and Akashdeep during this series.

I always thought his words carried weight and can be relied upon. 

He was of the opinion post a 10fer of Akash that he will be deadly if there was some help in the pitch & he , bhumra & Siraj would be deadly in 3rd test . 

but after seeing him in last 2 tests i am thoroughly disappointed . 

Kambhoj -again he said everyone at CSK had very high opinion about his ability . 

AM confused what to make out - Can Ash be such a poor judge of talent ( difficult to believe that is the case ) or is it to do with views/subscribers  to his podcast saying things which most of indians want to hear ? Even on end of 3rd day review in this test , from his analysis it was clear he did not think  india will bowl out them( was spot on saying pitch would play better on 3rd and 4th day to score if one stays long)  but at the end gave 70:30 chance to India.
