Attempting AP is not worth the price for Xi. The land is too small and do not see any cultural/strategic/economic reward that is worth the effort.

Fighting a full militiary power like India is not as easy as occupying a island.

They need basically Tawang and capturing some strategic passes.

If US silently supports them and Pakistan on their behest opens another front then reckon we have to push the N button fairly quickly for detterance.  So gotta be prepared and be ready for everything.

No country can sustain a 2 front war anyways.

Whatever they do will need to be done by 2040.

Median age of china is 40 now but jumps to 48 im 2040. And this is not the conservative estimate.

Their real tfr is around 0.7 to 0.8 as per most reliable estimates.

I can only answer in yes, once they completely reject the concept of jihad. Mainly the concept of holy war for religion. As of now, I am not seeing any such thing.

Yes and how many of these people are involved in Jihad. Very few. The meaning of Jihad has been misconstrued by the radicals. Just like most Hindus don't spend their days thinking of destroying mosques or killing people for eating beef or removing Muslims from the country...same most of them don't think of killing and blowing up people. A microscopic few does and that gives a bad name to everyone else.

Going by the activities in Myanmar...it seems US has sensed the Chinese plans and has started to engage them on that front.
North Myanmar has Rare earth reserves, which US is eyeing about, and they've a significant % of Christian population.
With allegedly US sitting in Bangladesh and north Myanmar...it's a concern for both India and China.

China is powerful, but isn't powerful enough to handle US on it's own. Russia may not want to engage itself in another war, specially on their Eastern borders where there presence in minimal.
North Korea is Chinese stooge...but I'm sure South Korea and Japan together will be able to keen it constrained.
