I always have higher respect for players who steps up in crunch situation regardless of talent level. Arshdeep singh a back up bowler in under-19 squad of 2018 batch for Mavi, Nagarkoti, Ishan porel. Then played IPL, Showed consistent improvement. Then didn't take long to light up at international. Stepped up in crucial matches. But for the dropped catch in Asia cup he has constantly evolved to a point you sort of trust him. He proved that once again in 2024 final. I like such players who step up when you need them. This guy doesn't belong to that category especially in shorter formats.
