There is a lot of discussion on forums that pakistani subs are simply kilo class + chinese electronics + aip.

Pakistanis are getting support from Turks and Chinks....who are supplying them war machines at a dirty cheap cost.

 

Though these machines are untested and unreliable...but Chinks believe in producing large quantities of junk to swarm the enemy.

They have effectively 8 subs to cover 600km of coast. Will be cannon fodder for the p8.

 

Those augusta class subs are not getting any maintaince from france given france has much more business to do with india. 

 

India imo as stated before need too boost their submarine hunting corvettes, arm them with missiles with long reach. Should be able to ping them operating 50km to 100km of coast of guj once detected by the p8.

Don't think he meant that but more like kudrat ka nizam kind of statement. He will try some rubbish soon and this time it will be more than conflict.

Yup, we have tested a missile last night from a SSBN (most probably Aridhamaan). The NOTAM for the same was being issued and canceled since Nov onwards..finally it happened yesterday.

I have a feeling that something is kept hidden. Lot of ambiguity is purposefully planted to avoid too much attention.

 

Same thing happened with Agni missile test in recent times. India usually underreports its missile range unlike Pooks who will openly blow the trumpet.

It's K4 but likely from INS Arighaat.

 

S4 (Aridhamaan) would likely come into service in early next year might be Feb 26

 

However if it's MIRV capable K4 then perhaps it could be from Aridhaman but we will never know for sure.

 

I am hoping it's the latter otherwise old potatoes.

India will never reveal anything on its nuclear attack or ballistic dub programs.

On top of it, India also tested Akash NG AD system...which has a range of 70-110 km as against the existing Akash AD which has 25-40 km range.

 

Akash NG with its upgraded Rajendra NG AESA radar is able to chase and destroy the moving targets even without the satellite connectivity.

 

And the success of ISRO for launching satellites by a launch worth 6 TONNE is another news of yesterday.

Yeah Akash NG was a great news as well.

Hopefully CCS clearance soon and we should mass produce and start  exporting as well.

 

Hopefully QRSAM also gets CCS clearance before Import lobby strikes.  It's long overdue

Another layer in our defence.

 

Air defence+ missiles + nuclear deterrant by land air sea is what we truly need.

Our missiles are our crown jewel...no doubt.

If we can start inducting indigenous AD in our warships as well (currently its Barak mostly)...it will give our warships capabilities against the missile strikes from enemy ships.

Akash NG is planned for Indusction by 2027....

Armenia and Phillipines probably are the countries where we may export. We also discussed with Brazil but not sure where it will end up with.

 

Vietnam, Thailand are other two options. Not sure if Cyprus/Greece will be interested due to US pressure. But getting inroads in Europe will be a massive win.
