Upto 500 k9 vajra is right call.

Worked vert well and even polish are saying its very good.

Vajra has attained attention because the Sharang guns were a total flop, even getting structural damage while firing, which is completely unacceptable.

With 300 Sharang guns lying unused...Army needed an alternative, quick fix...where Vajra came in. Dhanush, ATAGS and Howitzer needs to be towed...that gives Vajra an unique ability to shoot and scoot

Blackpill of the day Zorawar...

Apparently import lobby wants an opportunity to reject Zorawar and lobby hard for Russian Sprut SD lol.. classic

Rajanath should put his big boy pants on & shove it down the army's throat, any deficiencies should be addressed down the line. He should make it clear the only way a imported light tank will roll on indian soil is if it rolls on the body of the army chief & CDS.

He doesn't has the knowledge or he has himself given up and is least interested in cleaning this mess.

Parrikar used to be very blunt with the Army, his famous quote btw "if we listen to army req then the Tank gonna fly" He very well knew what plagues the system.

Playbook has always been simple

Alpha Defence was extremely sad today on the X.

Zorawar was doing so well, but sadly Army felt that it doesnt have sufficient defence and wants more.

He was also sad that IAF is still flying Jaguars and buying scraps from Ecuador to collect the spares for maintenance.

Navy & CoastGuard most resilient in terms of demands, jo mil raha hai le lo, and work on its improvement.

Cut commision lobby is working overtime for Sprut SD

Things were so gloomy today that even Chinese PLA osint accounts started to feel bad about IDDM:facepalm:

Just like Indian Fast bowling selections, even the Indian Defence selections are dimwitted.

Instead of selecting the desi fast bowler who can go big if given an opportunity, defence forces is eyeing to pull in foreign fast bowlers (aka military equipments) to form their IPL team...and if someone will get injured, then they will desperately search for a desi replacement or buy a mediocre foreign bowler at an exorbitant price.

I was watching a video of Pacific Steel comparing Taragiri with a Chinese vessel of similar class.

Chinese are using everything homegrown, we are using radar from Israel, guns from x, torpedoes from y.

Felt bad that a warship whom we call as our own, even the visible guns, radars and torpedoes are foreign exported.

Indian defence forces needn't limit themselves only to Pakistan...their primary enemy is China, preparation should be how to counter China in case of a long war. And you need weapons and ammunitions manufactured in house, not imported from a third party on 8x-10x times price.

R&D budget itself is peanuts and unfortunately the technical know how to create sophisticated systems and subsystems doesn't exist in the country and hence Israeli and Western dependence isn't going away anytime soon.  We are minimum 15-20 years behind China in this regard.

The Navy Chief admiral talked about this, that this is the biggest leap that country would have to take someday.

As of now India cannot remotely take on China in a long war that has been established.

But we can create minimum conventional detterance at least in next 10 -12 years.

If Airforce and Armed forces become half as competent like Indian Navy it will be achievable.

When you are even importing UAVs and Drones from Israel and Belarus and doing a paint job to call it indigenous then obviously IDDM is doomed and Western slavery won't stop.

Pakistan going for Israeli doctrine arming its SSK's with nuclear tipped Babur 3 after Chinese refusals on SSBN

@singhvivek141 as expected

Poor man's SSBN but sheer stupidity in a sense as it can blur conventional and nuclear exchange during fog of war.

If there is gonna be a nuclear war, I am 100% sure the primary reason would be Pookistan..

They just want a toy as to show against India, without thinking of the consequence (and why should they, the ones who are in control, their families is safe in West).

Brahmos, just like Babur 3 is also a nuclear capable missile...but we have used it strictly for conventional purposes to remove this ambiguity. Pakistan is hell bent on blurring the lines coz they're an irrational nation.

Tomorrow if India starts deploying K15 or K4 in Scorpenes or Warships...it would elevate the risk of a Nuclear War by 1000 times...Pooks dont get that.

Chinese were sanctioned from western defense exports - after the Tiananmen square massacre in 1989.  They simply had no option but to figure out everything themself.

They bought whatever Russia was willing to sell, reverse engineered, mass produced and got better and better.

We were spoilt for choices - buying from Russia plus the best that NATO had to offer and so we just din't develop the appetite or ambition to be self reliant.

It will take sanctions for the very best of Indian ingenuity to come together and kick some ass/

China also got unprecedented support from US in 1960s, after the China USSR conflict...Post which US jumped in and threatened to Nuke USSR.

After that China was in good books of US and they used it as a cheap factory yard to manufacture their goods and support via arms, to create a threat against the backyard of USSR.

India on the other hand was bitten by the bug of socialism and communism. Instead of working on the development, we creeped into the dark world of license raj and other British era bureaucratic laws which has kept us fractured and divided even now.
