And obviously, mental and physical strength is more important than height. vegetarian Haryanvi jats or Brahmins or yadavs or gujjars etc. is equal to 1.5 chinese or could easily make a bhoot out of any non-veg south asian group. 2. All the blue zones (longest living regions) of the world have shorter avg heights, 5'6-5'8..more concentration 100+ age people. bigger bodies require more to be repaired than smaller bodies. I am not saying that people should strive to be shorter but it's a fact - shorter people live longer. Do not make height seem more important than it is. @Lone Wolf Lol bro this is such an obvious cope at this point also it's not about the height obsession but how nutritional habits of a country shape the overall lifestyle and physique of it's citizens, and how other countries bought necessary changes to it, whereas we are still reluctant to change. First step is to Stop making randi rona on underprivileged kids given eggs on mid day meal for a change. Edited April 11 by Lone Wolf

It stops green right before Varanasi in UP, while in reality milk is a regular part of diet in east Up/West Bihar region and hence are easily digestible. That story of MSD drinking 4 liter milk, ofcourse it was a hoax, but it wasnt totally incorrect. Villages in UP & Bihar, milk is often the last drink / first drink of the night/day the moment people wake up. It looks to me as random drawings It could be but generally I have seen milk is consumed very heavily in the belt show also raw milk is consumed in the villages of Haryana Punjab the most.. I usually consume a lot of buttermilk, curd in General myself but sometime back I drank a full glass of raw buffalo milk in a village at night and I struggled badly to digest it myself found it easier in the morning Edited April 11 by Lone Wolf

Pls don't obsess about height , there's inverse correlation between height and life expectancy Quote The Biological Mechanisms The relationship between height and lifespan is not a simple coincidence; several biological factors contribute to why shorter individuals may, on average, live longer. Cell Replication and DNA Damage: Taller people have more cells. Since aging is driven by the gradual accumulation of DNA damage and errors during cell division (somatic mutations), having a larger number of cells naturally increases the statistical likelihood of developing age-related diseases, such as cancer. Cardiovascular Efficiency: A smaller body places less strain on the heart. The heart of a shorter person does not have to pump blood as far or against the same level of gravity-induced pressure as that of a much taller individual. The "FoxO3" Gene: Research, particularly in populations like the centenarians in Okinawa and Hawaii, has identified a longevity gene known as FoxO3. Variants of this gene are associated with both smaller body size and significantly longer lifespans. It helps regulate insulin signaling and enhances the body's ability to repair cells. Free Radical Production: Larger bodies typically have a higher metabolic load, which can lead to increased production of reactive oxygen species (free radicals). These molecules cause oxidative stress, a primary driver of the aging process. Thoda Shanti se sochna aur verify karna. Your data is patently false. Actual avg heights of youngsters in India is 170-173 cm. NFHS also says younger groups are upto 5cm taller than average of all ages. Edited April 11 by randomGuy

NFHS 4& 5 latest have show Indian male average height is 164.5cm https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0255676 You are a vegetarian (don't have an issue with it) and support absolute vegetarianism which is anyways slowly dying in the country thanks to rise in Income of lower middle class and more awareness. Indians are anyways consuming slow poison thanks to unprecedented adulteration that's happening in front of us so all those life expectancy stuff in general is actual BS and has no correlation with proper nutrition. And yes even Government has accepted that protein deficiency is a serious matter on our hands. India is among one of most protein deficient countries in the world. Edited April 11 by Lone Wolf

Vegetarianism is flourishing. In north indian context, rich, tall and strong tend to be vegetarian, Vegetarian People who will beat the cr@p out of non vegetarian groups in entire asia sans central Asia, but esp non-veg south asian groups. Less than 5% of lunch and dinner tables in delhi have non vegetarian food at any point. It is only about 3% imo. Punjab Haryana Rajasthan Gujarat are even more vegetarian than delhi. with UP,MP, Maharashtra also having good numbers.

Latest official government data shows otherwise. The number of non vegetarians in the country are in the mid 80's percentage. Numbers are rapidly increasing. Even the North West is seeing the change and percentage is increasing with time. Edited April 11 by Lone Wolf

Chinese life expectancy is higher, the kids are taller and it was very strongly correlated to increase in per capita protein(meat in particular) availability and consumption. Lone Wolf 1

Butter milk isnt that popular, that churning generation is gone mostly, but yeah...milk is quite a daily diet of most still.

Indeed absolute vegetarians only class comes up with these excuses...In few states Bhujia which is worse than a dog food btw is part of staple diet and little kids consume it..It should be a blasphemy in a sane country. Paneer, Peanuts, soya are too good options as well but extreme carb slop is the one we go for. Genetics is directly correlated to nutrition. Successive generations usually benefit from it.. That's what the whole China nutrition model is based on. That's how you beat genetics. Nikhil_cric 1
