flamy Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 What is the point of these posts? Really? Should we really be subjected to this nonsense. AND NOW MASHALLAH U HAZ BEEN PWNED!
Sachinism Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Goodish captaincy - much better than Kumble for starters. Bad points - 1. Drop catches. So what is the difference between him and PP/KD wicket keeping wise? since no one breaks wind when he misses the catches but are on the PP/KD's back as soon as they miss a single catch. He has missed 3 catches so far in this test series (Hussey proving a very costly one). We could have one the last match if he had taken the catch then. This time again he misses Hussey and it is proving costly already but hopefully won't make any difference. HE HAS TO IMPROVE otherwise .... 2. doesn't try other bowlers for few overs when things are not happing. For example, he could have tried Motu for few overs today to give the useless git a break. (May be even give Dada an over or two if necessary). In fact, AK also underbowled Motu. Motu could be a our 3rd spinner or even 2nd when we have to play three seamers. Good points. 1. Knows where to set the field. Is very aggressive captain fielding wise. 2. Suggest's ideas to the bowlers. 3. Improved his batting no end (at least today). Overall - he could improve but better than Anlbhai. about your bad points yeh he dropped hussey, which was a big miss, but the problem with keepers catches when the edges aren't snicks is they either stick or they don't and this time it didn't just think, in 0.2 seconds he is supposed to move his hands to the ball and catch it, so his hands should not be rigid, its not easy about bowling other bowlers, today there was no time to bowl anyone else, maybe tomorrow, we had 4 bowlers who were bowling brilliantly, why chuck in someone else
Dooks Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Quote by Dooks blah blah blah can i have some that sh1t you're smoking? and do you have another alias with an underscore in it? Why? What alias are you talking about here? What is so bad that I have written? I have told it as I see it. He has dropped three catches so far (you can't argue with that) & we would asked for PP/KD's blood if they had dropped even one (You can't argur with that either). And he didn't even try Motu (You can't argue with that either). So since you can't discuss rationally - cr@ppy replies come in. Go sit on tree matey and do you stuff on other people. Rest are good points anyway.

Anyways don't wana drag this on..this was one damn good day for Dhoni both as a batsman and captain.
Lord Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 one brilliant piece of captaincy :hatsoff: n stupid batting.even i could predict it'd be a googly.not taking anything away from mishra
SachDan Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 n stupid batting.even i could predict it'd be a googly.not taking anything away from mishra Actually Clarke thought that ball will pitch in the rough area..so he was ready to play with the pad..it turned out to be a googly which pitched with in the stumps and he was a bit late in bringing his bat down.
SachDan Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 account hacked brah? no dude..appreciating wat I saw btw..u gave it a miss no?:-D
Lord Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 didnt want all of the match today due to power failure.watched it from 3 overs before katich dismissal.congrats to dhoni for his 92 n dada 4 his 100.here r his bad points tho. mishra n bhajji were bowling well in tandem mishra had just taken a wicket.dhoni takes him off n brings in zak.why 'd you do that to a youngster's confidence?he could have taken off bhajji. zak was reverse swinging the ball like hell n giving hussey all problems.but dhoni introduces ishant in his place.result- ishant kept bowling wide n hussey was happy to leave'em.its a well known fact that ishant doesnt bowl well to left handers.dhoni doesnt know that? anyway good day for him n even better if he forces a win from here but the pitch is too flat n living in chandigarh, there's a bit of rain in the air.so win is still far away.

Karthik has been a repeat offender when it comes to dropping catches Dhoni rarely does it, so he gets some sympathy
Lord Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Karthik has been a repeat offender when it comes to dropping catches Dhoni rarely does it, so he gets some sympathy 2 in 2 matches.if thats rare, whats frequent?
Sachinism Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 what about before that? India have been so used to having a guy behind the stumps who's there just to stop the ball, it was a relief when Dhoni came along, yeh he wasn't the best when he started, but he has improved a lot

Wasnt he also stupid because he was wearing Black sunglasses? How could he see from them? And everyone knows for a fact that in the heat in India, gloves(even wicketkeeping ones) should be white.. How stupid is he to wear coloured gloves. Cost us the match...

flamy Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 You ever heard of a night watchman? yeah but indians dont use it ' date=its a strategy thing.it doesnt vary from player to player.wen was the last time india used it?Because that plays in the mind of the opposition. Shehezaada Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 good field placings but sometimes a little too defensive...also reluctance to put a third man resulted in a lot of necessary boundaries. Always have silly mid off and short leg for bhajji when he's bowling like that as well. Otherwise liked his use of leg slip and handling of bowlers, including getting mishra to open the bowling to get some morning 'bite'
flamy Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 BIGGEST Win in Indian History against World's No. 1 team
DomainK Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Dhoni's got a stump as a souvenir, but, seeing that Ganguly doesn't have one, he gives it to him.- cricinfo A real good leader.:adore:
