South Africa is giving me secondhand imposter syndrome for Team India.

In recent memory, SA hv never shown any fight against NZ in ICC KO games.  SA lost to NZ in CT2025 last yr in semis.  Same story repeats tonight.  (Though this is a different format of LOI)

Also recall the 2011 WC QF where they imploded chasing a total of 220 and then the 2015 WC SF where they were winning and Steyn was hammered for a 6 by Grant Elliott of all people to win the match.

Also 2019 WC group game. When NZ, RSA, Pak were in a fight for 4th SF spot. I remember de Kock not appealing a caught behind of Kane mama, Tahir's last ball of his spell, clear edge, no review taken as well.

As far as I remember, Proteas have been NZ's client in important ICC games. Started with that Fleming onslaught against Donald in 2003 WC.

Eng, NZ both have good ICC/KO records against RSA. I think Proteas will bow out in SF in a new venue, after playing 5 games in Namo.
