An inform and sensible Indian team would have chased that total against SA. We were chasing 200 in 15 overs, 150 in 10 overs. This is such a one-dimensional bowling attack. Can't believe we choked

Good that we did coz that took out Sundar from the team. I maintain that the batting was easier at Ahmedabad in the night and we would've chased the score easily had we applied ourselves even a little bit. But Kishan, Abhishek and Tilak were dismissed within a couple of overs playing horrible shots! Had we managed to keep the wkts in hand for the first few overs, we would've won.

More than half of that batting lineup was just cameo players: SKY, Hardik, Dube, Rinku, Axar/Sundar - who can't score more than 30-35 each against a decent bowling attack. So the game was done when we were 27/3.

Dropping Rinku for Samson, and bringing Tilak at #5 gives a bit more depth to the batting.

They just relied a lot on slower balls. I saw nz openers actively waiting for them.

That was the biggest mistake we did, especially Abhishek. He was pre-meditating shots and didn't read or wait for slower balls at all. He should've simply waited for slower ones from Ngidi and dispatched them. You do a couple of times and the bowlers stop relying on slower ones as their go to deliveries.
