Stop calling Yuvraj 'yuseless' without any provocation and haha you disappeared all thru the odi series and now starting to make comeback just cuz rahul is bac..more of an individual follower than team india....
Some of us do have a life and other commitments Mr.

dhoni knows that he will bamboozeled big time in tests by the one and the only Mendis and he will lose the little claim he has in the test side....so fair nuff for the break.
DOH! He was the only batsman to have played out Mendis succesfully. And Mendis will play the ODIs too, brah.

True...besides ' date='he has competition for the ODI skipper slot from [b']yuseless and Sehwag(hence the reluctance to skip the ALL IMPORTANT KITPLY and ASIA CUP) ...but no such risk while pulling out of tests! After all Kumble bhaiya is just keeping his seat warm for him.
Lol @ taking cheap pot shots at one of the most important members of ODI/T-20 squad. :winky:

It was his luck that mendis was taken off when he was batting and he scored against the others. Against Mendis, everyone was looking to change teh strike..lol

Dedicated:hysterical:No other takes a break from tests
There have been numerous players time and time again that have taken breaks either due to minor injuries, exhaustion etc. Dhoni isn't the first and won't be the last. Why don't you follow his example and take a break as well. . . from this board . . . a long break.

There were 20 odd overs left with RRR above 6.5 and boundaries drying up. this is not a test match with unlimited time to shield players etc!

I have forgiven our captain. Like all great love stories they often begin with hate and end in love. I loved dhoni, then hated him and now love him again. Long live DHONI:isalute: No dont miss any more major tests series:nono:

Then you will hate him again and curse him when he fails or has a form slump and demand his axing or has the guts to ask for rest, and then again claim to love him and "forgive him" (seriously, who the f- are you to forgive him?) when he does well...

Dravid is a legend, yet he has had a slump and some after his blood. Same with Jumbo he had a slump and again some were after his blood. Why didn't you criticise or take issue with posters who criticised these greats. It should be noted I have not criticised these two at all. And if dhoni does slump for a period then he may well be criticised. Welcome to the world of proffesional support. The longer he performs well then the longer the rope he gets when out of form. Kaif I think is cr#p. But if starts slamming tons for India left right and centre. I will start to love him as well. Adulation of fans is not a given but earnt with deeds on the field. The longer they perform well the more adulation they get and the more loyal the fans will be if they suffers bad times. Thats sport!

That precisely is Salil's point. You don't stick to a player based on his ability/potential but you reflect on player based on his present performance. The way you canned Dhoni after SL series was ridiculous and you should have maturely dished out your concern about his missing the test. Having threads like "Dhoni is coward" and then "forgiving him" is quite childish.

dsr, i don't recall you giving Kaify any of your sweet lovin' when he was scoring runs in WI. Or when he almost singlehandedly rescued India in the first test against England at Nagpur.

Then you will hate him again and curse him when he fails or has a form slump and demand his axing or has the guts to ask for rest' date=' and then again claim to love him and "forgive him" (seriously, who the f- are you to forgive him?) when he does well...[/quote'] You just described 90% of all Indian cricket fans. dsr isn't that bad, there are worse specimens on this forum than him...

Well' date=' dsr, I appreciate that you accept it. Unlike some others who still sticky to their anti-Dhoni campaigns.[/quote'] That number is dwindling. I need to start an anti-Dhoni campaign myself to keep the flavour on!
