Hassan Khan is a local USA player so Ashwin has nothing to do with Hassan playing i get you are disappointed that a washed up Ashwin is not playing but the options are the other 6 internationals - pretorius, Allen, short, peake, rauf or Siddle, not Hassan Khan

The reason they picked him was for add some strength to their spin attack. Matt short is at best a part time spinner. Hasan khan doesn't look like a regular bowler.

But that was the reason given to pick him. When short bowled in power play for CSK here ABhishek took him to cleaners. He is a part timer. It still doesn't change.

Short may be a part times but Ashwin today in T20 is no better, perhaps even worse being taken apart by Abhishek when zero wickets down and free license is very different to being taken apart by Milind f'n Kumar when his team is already two down and struggling Ashwin deserves to sit out. He is a garbage cricketer these days
